My name is Kayleigh, and I’m a bookworm.

Okay, so that certainly doesn’t make me unique, and there’s more than a few websites and blogs already out there where people share their favorite reads, life-changing books, new releases, and more – not to mention an entire part of the journalism industry focused on reviews!

So why read “Buying New Bookshelves”?

I’m lucky enough to have plenty of friends who know my passion for books of all genres – friends who come to me for recommendations and to share books they think I’ll enjoy. I love my friends and their input, but why not reach a larger audience? I bet I have some books on my shelves you’ve never heard of, and vice versa. Let me be your personal librarian!

As a journalism major in undergrad, I learned a lot about writing reviews and op-eds, and as a Buzzfeed reader in my free time, I learned that you don’t even need journalism experience to write a decent listicle 🙂 Hopefully, whatever literary content you’re looking for, you’ll find it here – and if not, drop me a line and let me know what you’re looking for!

After all, when we’re finished with all the great books out there, it will be time to buy a new bookshelf to fill.
